Dad Update

He is still in the ICU at Cental Florida Sanford and cannot be reached by phone. He cannot sit up yet, and it makes it difficult for him to eat. He has been in a good bit of pain, because he cannot take the pain meds. They cause him to have nightmares. He won’t let us stay with him over 30 minutes, then he shoos us away.
He still has a little bag hanging on the side of his head, and the fluid is still draining, but not nearly so much as yesterday, thank goodness!!
Dad is out of Surgery

ok. Dad is out of Surgery and ok. At least well enough that his first word were leave and take your mother home. He will be taken to ICU as soon as there is room. I will let you know when he has a room #. I know he would appreciate your calls. Thanks for calling him this morning, Ben. It meant a lot.
Update on DADs condition

I AM aT DOCTORS OFFICE W DAD. GOING TO TAKE HIM TO HISPITALHOSPITAL WHEN WE LEAVE HE HAS TO GET SURGERY TO REMOVE THE FLUID FROM HIS BRAIN . IGNOR THE CAPS AND BAD GRAMMERCRAMMED. I AM DOING THIS FROM PHONE ANS CAPS WONT GO OFF . I WILL LET U KNOW MORE LATER

dad’s home and is doing fine. headaches are a little better. will see how things go for a couple of weeks and then will check back with doctors.
Dad is in the Hospital

Dad has been in the hospital for six days. They have been treating him for Sp. Men. although he has no symptoms, but his headaches are so severe. He is getting plenty of antibiodics, etc. He should be released tomorrow, but the headaches continue.
