I lost my "birthday book" and have lost track of all birthdays, except those that are most familiar. I can hardly believe that Bubs and Lexie are already 2 and almost 4. My goodness, Crystal! Lexie is going to be playing softball! I will never forget the first day that I took you to softball practice. You were 5 years old, I think. You were running all over the place after those balls. I sat in the car watching you, and laughing my head off...you were the cutest thing....your little butt wagging, and your little legs pumping. Talk about time going fast!! Now here you are a mother of two, married, and a nurse, and your mother Vice President of a company, and she was just a baby when she had you.....I think I'm going crazy!!
I'm old and gray, grandmother of 24....great-grandmother of 4, and many more coming in the future.
I just pray that this country will be intact for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Little Bubs is going to feel so much better when he gets those bothersome Adnoids out. I'm going to ask Heavenly Father (when I get to the other side) what those things were for? it seems like they just cause little babies nothing but trouble and sickness. My brother, Buddy, had all of those ear infections and sicknesses when he was a little baby, that resulted in total deafness, because in those days they didn't have the wonderful "tubes" that they have today. They took out his adnoids and tonsils, but it was too late. He was already deaf.
I was sick, too, when i was little. I remember running high fevers, and staying home from school with Tonsillitis, but they were not removed until I was 19, and they had already burst. I don't remember about the adnoids. Beth and Tony had their tonsils out, but I don't remember if they had their adnoids removed.
Good luck to Bubs!
