I know you won’t understand, but he was made an assistant coordinator in the Temple today. Very important! One brother told me today that he likes to work with Brother Pagan so much, because he is so perfectly clear and precise and does everything right. That’s your Dad!!
Me? I’m still struggling.

thats wonderful Mom. I got your letter and it really helped me. I go into the hospital next tuesday to detox for 4 days and then outpatient and aa and church. going to the bishop is going to take alot of courage, but it is neccessary. I love you!

I’m glad you’re trying so hard to stay on track, Lainie. I think everyone understands how hard it is for a substance abuser to get completely clean, especially in this day and age. We’ll keep praying for you.

Lainie, that makes me feel so much better. I’ve got to get this great book to you, even before Luis reads it. You need it most right now. Believing Christ is the most soothing book ever written.
Going to the Bishop will take courage, but he’ll understand, and he’s there to help you get through everything. You have yourself to think about…and being an example to Casey, too.

Luis said he didn’t get a promotion. Just a different assignment!! I have to laugh at that, because I consider it a promotion. I will never in a million millenia be ready to be a coordinator. They have to be entirely too organized.
