Happy Birthday Everyone!

Hey Ben…be sure to post some pictures of the party. It’s good to see the kids any way possible. They get so big so fast.

I will try to post some pictures when/if Jason’s mom sends me some.  I don’t have a camera worth a crap so I never take pictures anymore.  Cell phone pictures aren’t very good.

Happy Birthday Brenda. I know it is late, but we really were talking about you at Teyla’s party. Mom and Dad drove up.  It was really nice.  I like the new house we moved into but it pretty much keeps us broke. It is a 4 bedroom two-story with a bonus room that came with a pool table.  That is nice, but i think my favorite part is the lake out back.  It feels soo breezy and good. I actually notice it more since i quit smoking. Don’t cheer yet!! I am not happy about it per say. It makes me crabby to think about it for some reason. Probably because the main reason I quit is because it just cost too much! Not that I didn’t want to sort of, but something about feeling forced to makes me angry. Anyway…It has only been a week.

Back to the house…the lake in the back is awesome. Jason and Teyla can go outside anytime and fish. They catch plenty of bass, blue gill? and he caught a catfish the other night. It was yummuy.  we throw the other fish back of course.  It is nice that jason doesn’t have to go looking for somewhere to fish now, though. I would send pics, but…again…no camera.  I think he put some up on his facebook, though. Pictures from his camera.

Ok well…maybe I will talk again later. Gotta get Teyla to VPK. Best 3 hours of the day. K?K

  2. Bill’s birthday was yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BILL BOY!!
How dare you be 52 years old. you just can’t be! You’re my little baby boy, Bill. Boo hoo hoo. My children are getting so OLD!! I’m reading a book about Near-death experiences, and they describe this place that is very dark and totally peaceful, free of pain. I think that happened to me. I rang for the nurse, and then passed out into darkness that was like that. Just floating and peaceful, and free of pain. Then I heard some voices, and someone yelling at me, and then something was on my stomach. “Oh, that’s ugly” I said. Then I went into that peaceful place again, and I don’t know how long I was there, but I came to, and saw a lady with a baby in a bed next to me. “Is that my baby?” I said. “No,” she said. “This is my baby.” Then I went away again. When I came to again, your Dad was holding my hand. “We have a boy, Elaine. And he has my mouth.” I stayed awake, and to my surprise, I saw my mother come dashing through the doors. NO ONE BUT HUSBANDS were allowed in that ward, but my mother would have killed anybody that tried to stop her!!

And I am glad you haven’t smoked for a week, Carmen. I hope you can hang in there. You might find out that it’s nice not to smell bad.

And I LOVE YOUR HOUSE. It is the most comfortable house EVER! I talked to Sara Rod. on Sunday, and told her that they really, really should plan a trip over. She said they wanted to, and that they wanted to spend the night.

You’re going to have to put up with me for two weeks in November, or Dad has probably already told you that he’s going to Puerto Rico. I’ll be at your place over Thanksgiving. Yes, I’ll make the dressing, if you want me to. Dad’s ticket is only costing him $10.00, but you’ll have to get him to explain that to you. That man has a way of finagling around and getting good deals. I knew that if he made up his mind to go to PR…he would find a way to afford it. I just hope he gives me some money while he’s gone, so you won’t have to support me. I’m trying the ALLI STUFF, but after two weeks, I haven’t had any results at all.

Bill, I hope you had a happy, happy birthday. Tell Nancy and the kids that Nana said “hello”.
