Casey

I am picking Casey up at the airport friday. i am actually really looking forward to it. she is moving here with me.  My lease is up on my apartment at the end of July and she and I are looking at some apartments overlooking the ocean in Galveston that are really quite economical. the balcony in my bedroom overlooks the ocean as well as the other balcony in the living room. There is a junior college in Galveston as well that she can attend.

  4. I’m surprised that apartments overlooking the ocean are economical. Grab one!! I’m happy for you and Casey, Lainie. I know you’ll be glad to be together. I really do pray that it will work out. Luis and I will keep your names in the temple. Lainie, you must make every effort to be active. You know that, of course.

I don’t know about your ward and stake, but all we hear now is “temples, temples, temples!!”

It seems that every talk from the small primary children all the way up to the stake presidency are talking about the importance of attending the temple.

Our Orlando Temple is having very poor attendance. Luis and I had the 4:00 session last Tuesday (he was the officiator, and I was the follower), and it was canceled. Not one “soul”, or that is to say “patron” was there so that we could have a session. Actually, we have to have two patrons to have a session (a male and female). Nope. Couldn’t do it.

It isn’t enough just to be a member of the church. From the time we become a member, the whole goal from that day forth is to look forward to the day that we can enter the Lord’s Holy House, and get our endowments.

Lainie,I don’t know how difficult it would be for you to get to the temple. Perhaps you could get a ride with someone in your ward. Are you getting to know the members of your ward, or are you so busy at work that you have no time for anything else? You know how I worry.

But, anyway, give Casey all my love, and good wishes for both of you to succeed in your plans to live together.

    Love….MOM
