Father’s Day

June 21, 2009 | Uncategorized | Comments [1]

Happy Father’s Day to all of my father-sons!!  You are excellent fathers, all of you.  I hope you enjoyed your day.

Over here….the troups came over from Jacksonville, that is, Carmen, Jordan, Teyla, and Maria.  They came for Father’s Day, and to say goodbye to Jani and Tristan.  Jani flew out this morning at 8:00 to her new home in Nevada with her husband.  They have a nice house on base, and his mother gave them a lot of furniture, so they have a good start.  Best of all, they have the sweetest and cutest little baby.  I just hope they will be very happy together.

Buddy, congratulations on your new job.  I hope it won’t be too temporary.  Bill seems to be managing alright, too.

Dia de los Padres

It’s another Father’s day. It is estimated that children think of and spend approximately 27% more time and money on their mothers than their fathers. I don’t know if that’s the case with us but just to be sure:

HERE’S A 30% BIGGER FATHER’S DAY GREETING, DAD!!!!

I am picking Casey up at the airport friday. i am actually really looking forward to it. she is moving here with me.  My lease is up on my apartment at the end of July and she and I are looking at some apartments overlooking the ocean in Galveston that are really quite economical. the balcony in my bedroom overlooks the ocean as well as the other balcony in the living room. There is a junior college in Galveston as well that she can attend.

Untitled

I wanted to have A laptop

I wanted to Have a car where you can tak the top off

I wanted to have the fashion clothes

I wanted to have a cell phone

I wanted to have those shoes

I wanted to have a tune

I used to have something

I used to have money

I used to Have places to go

I used to have a uncut toes

I used to have a reason

I used to be able to bare the season

I am lucky to have a roof over my head

I am lucky to have I am lucky to be here instead

I am lucky to have arrived

I am lucky I am alive

Change

The hope that bounds the heart

Makes it harder to take a start

A life of endless trails

And paths that sometimes fails

But forever in my heart will be

The picture of you and me

Forever my life will change

Because you helped it rearrange.

unknown 1

The tree Of life

Branches extended High

Is indeed a person

Waiting in disguise

unknown 2

The golden angel

His noble dragon steed

A knight of Quarrel

He continues to proceed
