Beth, Paul myself and Bill Sr. were at her apartment here in B’ham to pack it all up on Saturday 12/13. We moved everything into a truck and Bill, Sr. parked it at the storage facility near his home. Lainie is so overworked right now, I think the only ones that might see her are Lowe’s Customers or Bill, jr. and his kids. I doubt she’ll make it up for Christmas…

So…Does this mean she’s already moved, or is in the process of moving to Texas? Is she in Birmingham right now, or in Texas? She apparently is no longer in possession of her apartment.
Bud, could you explain in a little more detail or perhaps give us a cell number for Lainie? The last number I have listed is 205-516-4946. I just called the number, and it’s still GOOD!! yAY!! Of course, I only got the Voice Tone Message Thingy (whatever it’s called), and I left Lainie a message. Just want her to know we love her, and we’re thinking about her especially this time of the year.
I hope she gets to at least see Bill and his family, if she’s in Galveston.

Lainie has already moved to Galveston. She has been there for about a month. She gave me her address but I don’t want to post her Phone # online…. telemarketing scum:)

I don’t see Lainie coming back to Birmingham to live. I’m sure she will be a free bird from this point on. I’m thrilled that she is getting such great experience with the Home Depot/Lowe’s stores. The Landscaping and Management skills will be invaluable for her. Go Lainie!

Well, I’m tickled pink for Lainie. I hope lots of good things will happen to her in her new life. She can let go of some things that have held her back and caused her such grief. I’m speaking of all three of her daughters. Tony said a long time ago that the best thing for Lainie to do would be to get out and away and on with her life. Make a fresh start and concentrate on herself, and what is right and good for HER! I just hope she can stand up under the financial pressure. That is, if Bill meant what he said. He told her that after this December, he would no longer be helping her. So, if she’s on her own, it will be very difficult. Lainie is going to be 48 come April, and that’s pushing close to fifty. Not a young age to be starting out in life, is it?? Her name is always in our prayers, and on our temple roll. And we don’t forget any of you.
You are all equally important to us, always.
