Plea for pictures!!

I don’t know why it seems I write when only something really good or really bad happens. I guess that’s what family is for–anyways, we took a trip up to visit my grandma this past weekend, Luis Ben and I finally got to spend some time together. But upon returning home, I discovered my folder missing on the computer. I asked Big Ben if he had seen it–and he had seen it–in the trash on the computer. He thought it was a mistake and emptied the trash. Not only did I lose stories and all of my young women’s stuff, but I lost all of my pictures since May, including pictures of the reunion. We weren’t able to recover them. I was devastated and cried all day, like someone had died. So if you have spare prints from the reunion, please send them our way and remember to back-up digital pictures, so you don’t lose yours like I did mine!

That’s horrible, Julie!! It pushes me to get everybody’s albums finished, and into their hands! If this house got flooded away, and we lost everything, like some of our Debary neighbors did during Hurricane Fay, I would cry all day, too.

You probably already checked but i posted a bunch of pictures not long after the reunion occurred. i’ll try to post some more in the next week or two. That really sucks about your pictures!

Julie, there are a LOT of file retrieval programs around, that can find stuff that you’ve accidentally deleted. Have you tried that?

Mom, she’s talking about digital files on her computer, that Ben erroneously deleted. Digital files have the advantage of being infinitely copyable, and you can store them on any sort of media like a thumb drive, on your phone, etc.
Much safer than paper photos, albums, etc.

Julie, I have so many on my computer, I took about 240 pictures, I will send you some, don’t worry, or if you like I will just send them to a Walgreens near you and you can pick them up, let me know by email

I feel so bad for you Julie. Bill is right tho, there are many file retrieval programs out there. http://www.software-recovery.com/lost_data.htm just to name a one of millions.
