2. Should know something sometimes tomorrow. She was supposed to DEFINITELY have the surgery today. I don’t know what time, but I suspect it was early morning. I had my hands full with Teyla, because Carmen went to work. Luis went shopping at Wal-Mart, and Jason had to meet some “recruiters”. He’s on the hunt for a job again, and Wal-Mart called him personally yesterday. He’s supposed to have a telephone interview with them tomorrow. He’s really excited about that one. They seldom call people personally.

3. Mom, when’s the last time you talked to Beth? When I talked to her on Sunday, she was NOT planning on having surgery. She decided that she was slowly coming to feel better, and that it wasn’t needed.

   Have you talked to her since the beginning of the week?

4. Bill, I can’t remember when my last conversation took place. There’s so much going on around here all the time that i can’t keep up with everything, and I forget 90% of what I’m supposed to be doing, or what day it is, and I just decided to wait and hear from Beth, herself. She didn’t call today, and I had to go to the doctor this morning, then clean up a
   messy kitchen, and mop, then I worked on genealogy, and forgot everything, until Luis told me to get ready for the Stake High Priest Dinner.

   I hope she’s mending without the surgery.

   And speaking of the surgery….at LONG LAST…MY TOE IS GOING TO BE CORRECTED. The Doc said it was as bad as it could get, and I should never have let it go so long without getting that second opinion. It took this young doctor no time at all to tell me exactly what he was going to do to fix it….as best as possible now. it’s pretty messed up. But he can guarantee 80% pain removed, and I can walk without a limp.

6. I talked to Beth last night. She’s a little better, and did not have the surgery. Still hoping to heal on it’s own. She’s not taking but two lortabs everyday, but is still having a lot of pain, and is still having to stay in bed a lot. Paul and her sister-in-law have been so wonderful to her. Paul has really stepped up to the plate! Ryder is no trouble. Dillon is still more on the baby side, but she is far from out of the woods yet.
