New Blog Post (Not Here, Over THERE –>)
September 4, 2008 | Check-in
I hadn’t written anything on my personal blog in a long time. There were “technical difficulties” that I hadn’t taken the time to untangle so it just sat there not functioning for several months.
Finally took a few minutes - it was actually not that hard to figure out - and now it’s working again.
I thought the article was worth writing so I’m inviting y’all to check it out.

I read that article Bill It was really good. I have more questions for you about music because you know alot about it. I have two sets of sticks and I bought a snare drum cover, that muffles the sound and lets you practice hitting in the middle of the drum . Anyway I have books and cds that I practice with and I am trying to learn all the symbols for each drum and cymbal and I am getting there. But the thing is I can watch the instructor on video practice an exercise and pretty much get it, but when I try to follow the same exercise following the notes in the book it gets confusing. I have a metrodone. Does it just take time getting used to following the notes. I know they are not the same symbols as in other instruments. I get the bars, and the beats per bar etc. it just gets confusing. I have about decided to buy an acoustic set because I can buy the pads (like the snare drum pad I have) to muffle the sounds and the cymbals arent too loud/. I should probably get a college kid to teach me for lunch money. It seems trying to learn on my own can be hard.

Goodly put, Bill. I raised you right (to be a great Ronald Reagan Republican).
