Brenda told Maria that the surgery went well. I haven’t been able to get in touch with Brenda either at work or at home. I don’t even know what hospital Beth is in! What kind of mother am I, anyway!? I want to call Beth if she’s up to it.
Bill, do you know anything yet?
Your name is in the temple, Beth. We are praying for you. Somehow, in my heart of hearts, I know that you’re going to make a full recovery. Everything is going to be just fine.

I talked to Beth. She’s at Brookwood. I don’t know the room number yet, because the hospital patient info connected me immediately, without telling me.
The surgery went well, but as expected she’s in a lot of pain. HOwever, they are not giving her the pain medicine that she’s supposed to get, and that upset me something awful. I know how bad that can be from my last unfortunate stay in the hospital here in Debary.
I will never go to the hospital again, without my OWN PAIN MEDS!! I don’t care if the doc approves them or not. Luis still doesn’t agree, but it isn’t his body that suffers, and I suffer for Beth. Brenda was in the room when I called, and I told Beth to tell Brenda to go find out why Beth had not received her medication. It might be that the nurses are understaffted. I don’t know. Beth said the red light was on in just about every room.
Well, that’s all I know. She was talking pretty well, but was very tired after talking only a few minutes, and she was in a lot of pain. I just hope and pray that this surgery corrects her problem. I’m anxious to hear what her doctor has to say.
