Thanks for the good words of support. We will need all of your prayers and good wishes. Jani will be with us at the reunion, and dangerously near her delivery date, which is September 29th. She might pull another “Carmen” on us, and end up delivering the baby …say…at East End Memorial, where Crystal can help take care of her. Anyway. We just sent her a plane ticket. Her boyfriend lost his job, so he has to leave right away for boot camp, and Jani has to come to us right now. We’re busy today digging out a place to put her.
And by the way. Jason just called to say that his “new job” came through, and he starts on Monday. It’s in Jacksonville, and it’s $20,000 more than he makes now. But, we have to wait out the three months of a “contract” to see if he makes the grade. Therefore, nothing moves forward, as usual, until he does make it. More prayers, please. Someday he’ll hit the jackpot, because he never quits trying.
If if if if….all the folks move to Jacksonville…whatever will we do??
I most certainly plan to move to Florida in a few years, I am just waiting for Bailey to be a little older. Casey wants to move there too. She could go to Florida State in a few years if I move there. I actually have a boyfriend in Ocalla florida , but I don’t want to move there because it sounds like a redneck town.
You’re funny, Lainie. I’m sure there are some good people there. I didn’t know you had a boyfriend. Did you meet him on the Web. Be careful. Is he a member of the church. If not…be extra careful. Tell us about him.
The thing that’s so great about Florida is the weather. It’s extremely hot right now, and humid. But no more so than it gets in Birmingham. But we can walk outdoors in mid-January, and it’s beautiful and warm. That’s what I like.
If Jani’s boyfriend makes the grade in the Marines, he could be sent to Iraq. There are so many could be’s and should be’s and if’s and maybe’s in the future. Staring at us in the face is the possibility of an all-out revolution in this country where politics are concerned. I have stuck my head in the sand because I can hardly bare the news that is hawked on the front page of the paper and
in the 6 0′clock News. How did we ever get into such a mess.
~Personally, i think the weather in Florida is UNBEARABLE!
its way too hot and thats the only thing i don’t like about summer; id say i hate summer, but then i would be including summer vacation… sometimes, i wish i lived in Birmingham, where it actually snows! I much prefer colder weather. even winter here is agony! wigga whatta whoooda wigga whatta? well… i don’t quite know what it means eather but try saying that five times fast. anywho, I’m glad Jani is coming down to stay with us. I haven’t seen her in foreverz.
