So sorry mom, I did not get a chance to call you on mothers day, I hope you got your card? I am so glad you had a wonderfuld day. of course, I spent time with grandchildren, they got me the cutest mouse pad with their pictures made into it, so I can see them all day as I am clicking. Love those little ones so much. we finally got Lexies playhouse up in the back yard, she loves it, but reminded Darrell (pawpaw) that he promised her a swingset, so on we go to get that. She loves her pawpaw so much, alot like tayla and pawpaw, she follows him everywhere. Anyway, I am glad you had a wonderful day, Love you so much! Can’t wait till July!!

  2. I did get my card, and you never forget. You are a busy grandmother now, and phone calling is at a limit. I know.
I’m glad you enjoy your little family.

July is coming up fast. I think we need to do some more planning, or do we? Is everything planned?

  3. thanks mom, yes I am pretty busy, just like you in those days.

yes, july is coming up fast. I was told that we can pretty much use whatever we want there, so we don’t have to really reserve anything.

Christopher can’t come the first few days of the week, due to football, but him and Darrell will be coming up on Wednesday night. HIs first football spring game was last night, he did great, JV only played one quarter and varsity played the rest, but he had 4 tackles and a pick off (interception)he is so great at football, I am so proud of him, he is growing so fast, literally, I can’t wait till football season next year. I would not be surprised it he moved up to varsity this coming year.
anyway, I thought you might like to hear about your grandson and his accomplishments in sports. I do believe he will get a football scholarship when he graduates. Hopefully he will play for AUBURN!! WAR EAGLE!! HA!!
    LOVE YOU!!

  4. Brenda, I would give anything to see Christopher play a game!! Your Dad just might take a hike up to Birmingham for just that purpose one of these days when his grandson is sitting on the varsity team of Auburn and tearing up the field, leaving bodies piled up behind him!! Could DARRELL have asked for anything more!! I hope Chris is keeping his grades up if he expects to go to Auburn. Of course, if he plays football well, they have ways of overlooking grades (which doesn’t do students any favors), and i’m more interested in my grandson getting a good education that a lot of hurrah’s on the ballfield.

Well, I think everything is pretty well mapped out. WE’re going to go there, and stock up our cabins with whatever foodstuffs we want, and plan meals at different places, and perhaps a barbecue one night (and we’ll need to reserve a place for that maybe). We have the pool for the kiddies, and I’m thinking Luis and I may go for breakfast at the restaurant. Their breakfasts sound scrumptious.
Lunch is an easy sandwich. We can lounge and read and watch TV and take naps and chat and visit.

If Darrell and Christopher won’t be up until Wednesday, does that mean you’ll have space for someone to bunk with you for a couple of nights? Like Maria, for example? So far, she has only an air mattress in our cabin.

  6. See mom! please stop worrying about where I will be! There will be plenty of room for one solo person like me and i’ll just contribute to whomever I stay with. DON’T WORRY.

  7. yes, she has plenty of places to stay, crystal and I both would love it, she will need help with the kids anyway, so we will probably be going back and forth anyway to each cabin, so Marie is well taken care of. Right RREERREEEE!!!! No contribution necessary!!!!
