I received my very wonderful Mothers-Day gifts. Bill, how did you know that I like Julie Andrews so much. I adore her!! It will be a pleasure to read about her life.
And thanks, Bud, for hours of free phone-yakking. I didn’t know this like gadget existed. Very nice. Thank you!

I hope you like the ‘Magic Jack’. Have Jason or Carmen install it. I assume there were some Florida Phone Numbers to choose from? There were no Alabama phone numbers so I just up and got one from Provo, UT for the fun of it. So far I can’t tell the difference between it and my Cell. I got it for Jacob to call his friends on. $39.99 for the first year and $19.99 a year after that to keep your Phone Number. A lot less expensive than the $59.99 a month I was paying for BellSouth/AT&T. Or the $39.99/mo for a cable service phone line which does the same exact thing.

Aw, gee, Mom, I dunno. Do you think it might have been those hundreds of hours spent watching “Mary Poppins” and “The Sound of Music” with you?
Do you remember that we went to see both of those films when they first came out in the theater? (Let all the youngsters’ mouths now gape open).

Yes, movies were not something we did very often. Julie Andrews movies were the exception. The only other one I remember going to see as a family was at a drive-in to see “The Son’s of Katie Elder” w/ John Wayne and Dean Martin. Mom & Dad both loved the Duke.
