Brenda, I just reread your original post about DeSoto, and I looked again at the things that DeSoto offers. I’m wondering if we can rent a dining room for a special dinner, and then the talent show following it. Is that how it goes.
And are you and Beth still willing to drive up there and look things over, and see about how much something like that will cost?

yes, Beth, crystal and I are going to ride out there this weekend to
see what we can rent and so forth, we will update all. If we don’t
this weekend we will in the next 2-3 weeks.

That’s great! Don’t want to get too pushy, but if we’re going to rent a dining room, we need to know the cost as soon as possible, so that we can figure how we’re going to go about paying for it. Brains better than mine will have to figure that out. Maybe we can reserve the room with a down payment (and it should be obvious to Carol that we’re serious about our reunion) and then when we all get our generous government checks, then we can turn them over to you, Brenda, if you and Beth and Crystal, as a Committee of three, will be the “Dinner Committee”.
Still hoping that Bud and Bill and Seay, and possibly even Jacob, because he plays a saxaphone (or one of those kind of instruments. Maybe a trumpet. No. It’s not a flute.)

I went to Desoto yesterday to take pictures and I spent the night in the motel and recieved a free breakfast. I will try to post as many pictures as I can that i took. I talked to the lady this morning as I was checking out and asked her about the banquet rooms . She showed me the dining area that would be closed off and she said you didn’t have to rent that room as long as you let the restaurant cater. Of course Beth and Brenda can set all that up. I will say that the good thing is that All the cabins and chalets are within walking distance of each other and each chalet and cabin is surrounded by a ton of land. To get to the picnic area and pool and softball field and playground and country store. You need to drive.They aren’t that far but they are all together.
