SOUNDS GREAT! (I can make it for 2 days)

Keep making the truely lovely Reunion plans. It all sounds so exciting. DeSoto IS gorgeous. I am hoping to make it to the Reunion sometime that final weekend. It only looks like I work for a big corporation since I’ve been at Regions for over 2 years but, being a contractor has it’s downfalls. I have no sick days, vacations or days off… just layoffs when they happen:)
Oak Mountain is just down the road from where I work in Riverchase. Having the reunion in my backyard was just wishful thinking. I had planned to leave work each day and join the festivities and host a few things from home. I have no great distances to travel like Ben, Bill, Carmen, Tony, Maria, Mom&Dad… so this is NOT a complaint in any fashion. DeSoto IS so much better than Oak Mountain that you would all be fools not to jump on it. (Example: I got great weekend accomodations for me and the kids last year at Lakepoint State Park near Eufaula because the State Parks away from the Metro areas are just less expensive and much more breath taking). You won’t be sorry you decided to go there. I promise that I will be able to see everyone.

Buddy, Just so you can make it for whatever time you can. It would be devastating not to have you there. Dad talked to Tony today, and it sounds like he might go and take Chelsea. I don’t know for how long.

Buddy, the motel rooms will be available up to the last minute most likely. I wouldn’t wait until the very last minute, but if you think you will go the very last weekend, it might be wise to reserve your room or rooms (or maybe you would like a chalet or lodge…jump on that for a weekend…see if you can get it.Maybe there’s plenty of time ahead to get that) I hope Melissa is coming with you. She will be more than welcome. I think a lot of love will spill over at this get-together. I’m counting on it.
