reunion

ok, all this sounds really nice, but I really wanted to find a place that we all could stay together, have a banquet room, resturant, swimming pool, volleyball, fishing, golf, etc, etc, etc. I wanted all of us to be able stay in the same place. I know Oak mountain is nice, but all of us cannot stay there, so if you will give me a little time, I am going to try to find a place to suit all of us, I have looked up a few things and I think I might have come up with an idea, so if you are ok with it, I want to keep looking, is that ok with everybody? of course, if will be here, I will make sure of it. I will make it soon to, but let me know if ok, I won’t waste my time if everybody is set on Oak mountain.

Brenda, that is what we are looking for, any ideas are fine, just keep in mind benny, bill, and myself’s ideas. Whatever itenerary you come up with besides mine and benny’s is fine

Brenda…Nothing is set it stone. It’s early. Please look and come up with another package. Look for a place that all of us can be together, and maybe a room where we can have a nice dinner. Or something?? We can cancel those cabins anytime. WE have until five days before check-in time to cancel, so that’s a long time away. We just wanted to hang onto them in case we really decided it would be good for some of the families with little kids to put to bed early, where everything is peaceful and quiet. However, that could work in other places too.
YES..BY ALL MEANS…KEEP LOOKING AND LOOKING. Also keep figuring up the budget.

Yes, we can drive to Oak Mountain or any other place if needs be. I would just like to keep everyone together as well. We’re in no hurry at the moment, I look forward to seeing what you find.

I think Brenda has found a winner. Desoto sounds just wonderful. I urge everyone to take a look. Lainie, thank you for making it easy to go there and look at both Desoto and Wheeler. Wheeler is beautiful…It’s just so far away, and I didn’t see a swimming pool mentioned. A pool is an absolute necessity.
ALSO…The prices on everything are wonderful. I am set on having a chalet, and am urging Dad to get one. They occupy four people only, but will put in a rollaway bed for $6.00 per night and $6.00 per extra person (I guess that means 12.00) per person for bed and person (?).
MARIA… What do you think about sharing a chalet with Dad and me and Casey Anne for a whole week, and Lainie for whatever few days she can get off? Just speculating???Dad hasn’t even lifted an eyebrow, because his face is always stuck in a TV.
I have figured up the cost to be about $200.00 for you and $200.00 for Lainie, and the remaining $405.00 for Dad and me. That would be for a full seven days, and I don’t think you can beat that with a stick any day of the week.
