Thought for the day March 20
Funtioning on a material plane alone takes me away from God. I must also try to function on a spiritual plane. Functioning on a material plane as well as a spiritual plane will make life what it should be. All material activities are valueless in themselves alone. But all activities, seemingly trivial or of seemingly great moment, are all alike if directed by God’s guidance. I must try to obey God as I would expect a faithful, willing servant to carry out directions.
Prayer for the day
I pray that the flow of god’s spirit may come to me through many channels. I pray that I may function on a spiritual plane as well as on a material plane.

It’s only 9:30 PM, and I’ve put in an exhausting day, both today and yesterday. I needed something soft and soothing for my jangled nerves. This music was perfect.
Lainie, do you remember how horribly nasty our bathrooms were when you were here? They were red and rusty from the awful water that we had to put up with.
Finally, we had to put in a whole new water system to the tune of hundreds and hundreds, but at last we have clear, blue water.
Carmen, Jordan, and I have been scrubbing, scrubbing, and scrubbing, tubs, and toilets, and trying to rid them of the red rust encroached thereon; and it has been a super awful job.
I’m so tired, and my hands are blistered, in spite of the gloves. The toilets and tub, and the shower look a lot better, but never will be very nice. It’s so wonderful, however, to have clear water.

Blue water??

Yes. That did sound funny, didn’t it? I mean…. in the toilet from the little things that you hang on the side of the toilet that turns the water blue when you flush it. I don’t mean the water in the bath tub or the water in the shower or in the bath tub or the sink.
