It is hyphenated on his birth certificate. His given name was Adam-Michael Hunter Polhemus. He is the one that asked to be called just 'Adam' now. We both felt strongly that Adam was the right name for him and Melissa wanted to pay some tribute to her brother Michael who passed away some 2 years before Adam-Michael was born.
