Oh my goodness! I’m just logging in after midnight, so is the baby coming on January 31st? A January baby after all?? Now, how am I expected to sleep the rest of the night. Hey, baby, Nana is waiting to greet you the best way I can. i’m so upset that I can’t be there. A ten-pounder! Well, Beth’s Ryder was nine pounds and thirteen ounces. His head was huge. Is it still James Michael? I didn’t get my bid in soon enough, but I think Ben and Julie would like to name a son James Ellis (after my little deaf brother, who died when he was twelve years old)My Grandmother Chapman always called Buddy, “Ellis”. He was called “Buddy” instead of James, because I couldn’t say “brother”, and I called him “Buddy”, so it stuck. Along came my “Buddy”, and he was named James Chapman Polhemus, and he was given the nickname of “Buddy”, and that has stuck all of his life, In places where he plays his guitar or where he dances, they know him as Chapman James. It’s a good name to twist around.

About the Texas Fudge, made with oatmeal. I had a good recipe, and lost it. Maria learned to make it, and she did a better job than I did, so every Sunday, Ben begged her to make it. She’s the one to with the expertise.
