Jani

Jani called me earlier today to tell me that she was coming to Debary for sure for Christmas.  Then, she wanted any information that I had to help her find her bio father.  I had little or nothing.  I decided to look on the web, and found that he had been killed on June 22, 2004 in a shooting in Ensley.  That’s all I’ve been able to find out so far.  Brenda is looking on the web for anything more.  You have to pay for getting into stuff like info from the bham news, etc.  Anything anyone can do to get more info, please pass it on.  There was a Burpo Appliance store in Eastlake at one time, but I don’t know if it’s still there, or if they were kin.  Bless her heart.  Still, there may be other reasons why she’s been so anxious for a year or so to find him.  Maybe his mother or brother is still in bham.  His name, by the way, is Daryl Wayne Burpo.

  2. Mom, thats horrible. You know you can’t blame her for wondering. That is why she and chelsea are so close because they share this. i told Chelsea several years ago that her father married a rich girl in North Carolina some years ago , he was so very, very, hansome, Brenda saw a picture of him once and said he looked like a movie star, surely, one day she’ll want to find him. Joe, remembers his last name better than I. He gave Chelsea’s father’s pictures to his lawyer. I need to get them back one day for Chelsea.
