Mom, did you and Dad receive your initial issue of Alabama Heritage magazine yet? I got it for you guys as a little gift, I thought it looked like a great publication.
We both love history, after all, and the down-home history of the state we lived in the longest is pretty fascinating.

Bill, Sorry for not giving you a big THANK YOU. It’s a beautiful magazine, and I snatched it up and read most of it. Now I have to find it again We’ve been doing so much reorganizing around here that it’s really better to leave stuff alone sometimes. Now, i’ve forgotten what I read, but I’ll find the book again soon. Alabama history is amazing from the days of slavery and the rich plantations, etc., and the civil war days, then the civil rights movement. We know all of that, but there is a lot more, and this magazine has beautiful pictures. The paper is sleek and pretty.
