Temple

October 9, 2007 | Check-in

Dad and I went back to the temple today after one month away. Things happen. A new President and Matron were called. I talked to the Sister who lost her husband last July in the car accident in Alaska for the first time. She burst into tears. We were in the cafeteria. She was surrounded immediately. What angels in the temple!! Luis and I met a man who sang with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for six years. His wife appeared, and said she had five babies, and couldn’t sing. He said the experiences were out of this world.

  2. I am confused. you mean “real angels” that you could see surrounded her? Also I don’t understand what you mean by a man saying his wife “appeared”.Was she dead? What babies was she talking about?

  4. Lainie,
Sometimes I wonder if we are reading the same words. Mom talks in inferences like Beth. She meant that the widow was surrounded by loving temple workers like angels and you could feel the spirit of comfort. The wife of the former Tabernacle Choir singer came over and told Mom she had 5 children and she couldn’t sing like their father though she is not specific but, I believe she meant the children couldn’t sing like him either…. Mom?
